The World of Warcraft Pre-patch 8.0.1 for Battle for Azeroth went live on Wednesday 18/7/2018 and with it popped-up absolutely amazing announcement for anyone who hasn’t played one of the most popular MMORPG on this planet!
Blizzard changed the way of requirements (in the matter of prerequisites) for World of Warcraft upside down. What this means is that new users don’t need to buy a Battle Chest or any other expansion in order to join and play the game.
As long as you subscribe and pay the monthly subscription you have unlimited access to content (doesn’t involve the latest expansion Battle for Azeroth) and that’s it!
With the remastered subscription webpage, you can now join Alliance or Horde and explore the fantastic WoW world with access to all expansions up to Legion.

“Get access to World of Warcraft and every expansion through Legion with your subscription—no additional purchase required. Begin your journey today and play up to level 110 through six expansions of adventure!”
This is great news if you have been a fan of the MMORPG genre and WoW lore but haven’t tried it yet.
In addition, the initial money investment gets way cheaper for newcomers coming to WoW as they won’t have to pay an excessive upfront cost for the game and expansions which many of us paid when we first got into World of Warcraft.
Important to mention that such news are going to be hard hit for all Private Servers. This new feature might allure many new players from the world of these illegal realms.
Blizzard also announced at Blizzcon official legacy servers for which a subscription will also be needed, basically in the near future you can have access to Retail and Legacy realms.
